## Technical context

Red light therapy (also: photobiomodulation, PBM) is a non-invasive light treatment that uses specific wavelengths — specifically 630–670nm (red) and 810–850nm (near-infrared) — to stimulate cell repair via ATP production in mitochondria. Mvolo adds the wavelengths 1060nm and 1072nm for deep-infrared penetration. Infrared therapy works via heat transfer (IR-A). Daylight therapy supports the circadian rhythm via the serotonin-melatonin mechanism.
